On what turned out to be a very big day for Malahide Rugby club two of the senior teams were in action, The 2nds and 3rds were to play their last league games of the season and were looking to end the league campaign on a high.
First kick off was to fall to the 3rds at 12.30 at Castle Avenue in Clontarf. This was a big game for Vineys Villains as they looked to finish off their 2010 league campaign with 6 wins out of 7, and claim Third spot in the J5 league. Read the rest of this entry »

Malahide’s J5 Villains came out on top as they encountered their toughest opponents in a very well drilled St. Marys side in the rain at Estuary Road, Malahide.
Yet again, Malahide were in front from early on. With a well earned try coming from deep. Again it was youngster Karl Morris who went tearing up the right wing after running a great support line from the break of Finn Lyons, and went over the line in the corner.
