Malahide RFC would like to congratulate Glen Carey, Darragh Sweeney and Ronan Breen who were played for Leinster Metro u17′s
- : Glen Carey (started at #8 and later in the second half moved to 2nd Row to accommodate a substitution),
- · Darragh Sweeney (started at Centre and put in a strong performance)
- · Ronan Breen (started on the left wing and was moved to his more familiar position in the centre with 25 minutes left in the game)
Malahides’ three representatives played the full match and their respective performances was good enough to earn ‘starting’ selection for the next match in this competition.
The academy trained on tues this week as most of the children were available to train due to mid term. Thank you to those that took part in making the coaching video. It was a great success and we will all greatly benefit from the resource. The academy will train again next friday the 9nth of november.
