Summary
The purpose of this project is to generate funding
to support youth related programmes’, namely the Youth Academy
and the Youth Improvement plan. The future success and advancement of the rugby
club will be underpinned by nurturing and development talent through the club from
youth to senior rugby. We already have a number of youth players involved in
the Leinster academy and also have an Ireland U19 representation.
The
funds will be used to secure both equipment and cover the costs for coaching. Target
funding is €5000. As part of this fund raising there will be a monthly draw for
contributors with a prizes of up €200 per month based on reaching 35
contributors. The Academy runs throughout the season with Friday evening
training session during the main rugby season and complimented by a number of
day camps during the summer holidays.
To join the ‘Friends of Malahide RFC’ costs €5 per week through direct debit.
There will be a monthly draw beginning in April with the prize money being
given back as outlined below. The 1st Draw will take place in April
2012
20 members we will give 2 prizes of €40
25 members we will give 3 prizes of €40
30 members we will give 4 prizes of €40
35 members we will give 5 prizes of €40
