Malahide RFC is proud to announce that Jack Lukeman will be performing at the Malahide RFC Marquee Festival on Wednesday 15th May. Jack Lukeman is an Irish singer-songwriter, a musician with sell-out headline shows in the U.K, Ireland, Europe and U.S.A. Along with extensive touring with Imelda May, Jools Holland, Marc Almond and Neil Sedaka taking in such prestigious venues as The Royal Albert Hall and also opening for Aerosmith at the Firenze Festival in Italy. Lukeman a multi-award winning platinum is a compelling, dazzling stage performer. Incorporating the theatrical and romantic sensibilities of the likes of Jacques Brel, but with genuine melodic appeal and a knack for creating his own ‘magic realist’ world that is peopled by all manner of unusual, picaresque characters, Lukeman is a rare, unusual brand of performer.

Brendan Grace - 16th Thursday- Cancelled

Malahide RFC is proud to announce that Brendan Grace will be performing at the Malahide RFC Marquee Festival on Thursday 16th May. Widely regarded as the greatest family comedian of our generation, Brendan proudly presents 40 years in the comedy business and most of this time at the very top of his profession.Brendan’s latest show features some brand new material and some ‘Old Favourites’ from his vast repertoire over the last 40 years. His sense of timing and ability to read an audience is without equal. A brilliant character actor, his ‘Bottler’ character is legendary and is now featured at every performance.These days Brendan spends a considerable amount of time in Florida where he resides with his family. Despite this, he still considers Ireland his first love. The genial Dubliner has a very special bond with Irish audiences and is much loved by young and old not least because he gives very generously of his time after each Concert. The ‘Meet and Greet’ is now very much part and parcel of each show and Brendan’s very down to earth approach is much appreciated by all. In more recent times Brendan has managed to attract a younger audience mainly because the content of his show is very ‘Family’ and also because of his hilarious appearance in Father Ted when he played the part of a drinking, smoking, troublemaker extraordinaire Father Fintan Stack.As always and especially nowadays it is advisable to secure your Brendan Grace ticket as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Mary Black - 17th Friday

Malahide RFC is proud to announce that Mary Black will be performing at the Malahide RFC Marquee Festival on Friday 17th May. For one night only, Mary and her all-star band, will perform favourite songs from her immense catalogue spanning over 30 years. Timeless songs of a generation from No Frontiers and Katie to Bright Blue Rose and many more – songs so many of us know by heart.
Expect a special night where Mary brings her magic to these incomparable, shining songs and many more besides.
For over a quarter-century, singer Mary Black has been a dominant presence in Irish music, both at home and abroad. Mary has released 11 studio albums all of which achieved platinum sales status and spawned countless hits. She has shared stages, TV shows and recording studios with some of the most revered performers of her time. She has also played a front-line role in bringing Irish music, past and present, to an increasingly appreciative and ever-growing global audience.
In an industry noted for its fickleness and its almost insatiable need for fresh novelties Mary Black’s enduring successes have proven that her depth of talent and her love of singing transcend the generations, as well as national and musical boundaries too. She is indeed a real Irish treasure and her talent a gift from this small island to a grateful world.

President Gala Dinner - 18th May

Malahide RFC is proud to announce that Phil Coulter will be performing at the Presidents Dinner at the Malahide RFC Marquee Festival on Saturday 18th May. The Ivor Novello award winner and Grammy nominee Phil Coulter have long been regarded as one of Ireland’s greatest songwriters and musical legends.
As the only Irishman to have had one of his songs “My Boy” recorded by Elvis Presley, Phil’s legendary status is assured. When you add the classics “Congratulations”, and “Puppet on a String”, you get some insight into just how big an impact Phil has made to popular music in the 60s/70s/80s and beyond.
As Producer of all Bay City Rollers hit albums; he was partly responsible for one of the great original boy band successes and he also wrote one of their classic hits “Shang a Lang”.
But it was in the 90s that he became a star performer in his own right and his solo career really took off. A series of solo multi-selling piano albums The Tranquility series placed Phil Coulter at the forefront of easy listening artists around the world, resulting in a Grammy nomination. Phil’s long career as a songwriter, producer and recording artist has been recognised over the years with many gold discs.
