At Malahide Rugby Club, we believe rugby is more than a sport — it’s a pathway for our
young players to grow, learn, and thrive.
Developing Future Stars
Our Mini and Youth programmes provide a fun, safe, and supportive environment for boys
and girls from Under 6s right through to Under 19s.
We focus on:
Rugby at the Heart of the Community
We’re proud to be more than just a rugby club. Our pitches and clubhouse are a hub for
families and the wider Malahide community. From school partnerships with Malahide
Community School, to welcoming local groups, businesses, and other sports clubs, we make
sure our facilities are shared and enjoyed by many.
Training All Year Round
In 2024, we completed the development of our brand-new All-Weather pitch, ensuring
rugby in Malahide never stops, even in the toughest Irish winters. This facility now
provides a safe, reliable, and top-class surface for minis, youths, seniors, and community
partners to train and play on all year round. It has already transformed the way we deliver
rugby, giving every player the consistency and opportunities they deserve.
A Positive & Inclusive Culture
Malahide RFC champions inclusivity at every level. We actively encourage participation
from all backgrounds and abilities, ensuring rugby is open to everyone. Our players,
parents, and volunteers work together to create an atmosphere of positivity, belonging, and
pride, values that carry beyond the pitch.
Building Tomorrow, Together
By supporting and investing in our youth and community programmes, strengthened by
facilities like our new All-Weather pitch, Malahide RFC is developing not just the rugby
players of tomorrow, but the leaders, teammates, and friends that make our club, and our
town, stronger.
